Ashton J. Hacke is a proud freelance photojournalist whose work has been featured in publications such as The Branding Iron, The Laramie Reporter, The Casper Star-Tribune, and WyoFile. Hacke embarked on his photographic journey at the age of 15 when he picked up a camera and dedicated countless hours to his craft by walking the coastline of Half Moon Bay, California.
The transition into journalistic pursuits came later during college, quickly taking hold as Hacke's work opened up opportunities across newsroom internships and freelance assignments in photojournalism. These experiences led him on adventures across Wyoming, capturing the essence of people, local communities, protests, state legislature meetings and the art of storytelling. While rarely seen without his trusty camera, Hacke can also be seen expressing his love for storytelling through the written word.
